Social Video Producer
RELEVANT is looking for a Social Video Producer who can do far more than cut clips. This is a creative, design-forward role for someone who understands the language of short-form video—its pacing, typography, motion graphics, trends and platform nuances—and can translate RELEVANT’s long-form content into visually compelling, scroll-stopping social moments.
You’ll be responsible for shaping the look, feel and rhythm of RELEVANT’s short-form video presence. That includes pulling standout moments from podcasts and interviews, designing motion-graphic elements within brand guidelines and producing original short-form videos (talking head, green screen, explainer, editorial pieces, trend-based content) that align with RELEVANT’s voice.
This role is perfect for someone who is both an editor and a creative—someone who wants ownership of the craft, not just the cuts.
Responsibilities
Clip Editing & Story Discovery
Identify high-impact moments in our long-form interviews, podcasts and video content
Edit clips into dynamic short-form pieces optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts
Shape the pacing, narrative and hook of each clip for maximum retention
Motion Graphics & Visual Design
Create motion-graphic elements for clips (titles, transitions, dynamic captions, visual effects) within RELEVANT’s brand guidelines
Keep the look and feel of our clips fresh, modern and on trend
Maintain a visual identity across clips while experimenting with new formats and visual styles
Collaborate with the Creative Director to evolve motion and design templates
Original Short-Form Content Creation
Produce additional short-form videos beyond podcast clips, including:
talking head videos
green screen explainers
editorial/voiceover pieces
trend-based content
social commentary pieces
Work with the editorial and graphic design teams to brainstorm and execute platform-native ideas
Create content packages around holidays, current events, and major RELEVANT releases
Publishing & Platform Fluency
Monitor performance and adjust creative approach based on platform behavior and algorithm changes
Stay up to date with emerging trends, editing styles, templates and platform features
Speak into posting and scheduling strategy across platforms
Speak into high-performing titles, hooks and on-screen text
Qualifications
Proven experience editing short-form video content for social platforms
Deep familiarity with TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts and what performs well
Experience producing original short-form content, not just clipping
Strong instincts for narrative, pacing and content selection
Interest in RELEVANT’s intersection of faith, culture and storytelling
Strong motion graphics skills (After Effects, Premiere Pro, CapCut or similar tools)
A sharp design eye—typography, color, visual hierarchy and movement

$30–$35 per hour, based on experience.
20 hours per week.
Remote role with daily posting availability.
